Flu vaccines will be offered along with covid boosters at our annual clinic on
SATURDAY 15th and SUNDAY 16th October in the Vale Centre, Greysteel, from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
Those eligible for the flu vaccine include:
- everyone aged 50 or over
- pregnant women
- carers or those living with shielding patients
- patients who have
- BMI greater than 40
- chronic lung, heart, liver, or kidney disease
- diabetes
- no spleen
- a learning disability
- neurological condition such as parkinsons, MS, cerebral palsy
- weakened immune system due to medication, chemotherapy
- all pre-school children aged 2-4 years and not yet in primary school (these will be vaccinated in a separate clinic in practice)
All children attending primary school, special school and secondary school (Yrs 8-12 inclusive) will be offered vaccination in school.
