Dr Casey and Dr Doherty are available for insertion and removal of implants and coils.

Please discuss with your doctor if you are considering either of these methods of contraception, to assess if the method will suit you and advise on arranging a suitable appointment.

Both implants and coils must be inserted during the first 5 days of your period. Both procedures require longer appointment times and a nurse to assist, therefore please inform reception when booking such an appointment.

Patients taking the oral contraceptive pill are required to see a doctor or nurse at least annually to check blood pressure, weight and smoking status.
