Childhood vaccination schedule
2 months old – Diphtheria Tetanus Pertussis (DTP) Polio, Haemophilus influenzae type B (HIB) +Hepatitis B (6 in 1), Meningitis B - 2 injections, plus oral Rotavirus vaccine
3 months old – DTP Polio HIB + Hep B (6 in 1) injection, Pneumococcal (PCV) injection, Rotavirus oral vaccine
4 months old – DTP Polio HIB + Hep B (6 in 1), Meningitis B – 2 injections
Between 12 and 13 months old – HIB-MenC, Pneumococcal, Measles Mumps Rubella (MMR), Meningitis B – 4 injections
2 to 10 years - Influenza nasal vaccine
3 years 4 months old or soon after – DTP Polio booster, MMR – 2 injections
12 to 13 years old – Human papillomavirus (HPV)
14 years old – DT Polio booster, Meningitis ACWY

65 years and every year after - Flu vaccine From 16 weeks pregnant - whooping cough (pertussis) vaccine
70 years - shingles vaccine
Tetanus
We recommend a tetanus booster every 10 years.
Influenza
Vaccine is available every year from October. We encourage older patients, particularly those over 65 years, pregnant women, carers, and those with chronic illness or a BMI >35 to be vaccinated every year.
