Acute prescriptions are issued in direct consultation with a doctor. Occasionally acute prescriptions can be requested by telephone, although this is normally only for simple symptomatic remedies. 

Antibiotics should not be requested by telephone, and will only be issued to children under 12 years following direct consultation with a doctor.
 

Repeat prescriptions can be requested by calling 02871 813930 between 9.30am and 3.00pm.  Alternatively you can bring your request to reception or email your request to the address below.  The prescription usually takes 24 hours to be processed so please don’t let your medicines run out. Email requests for prescriptions received by 2.00pm, should be available to collect the following afternoon.
